Pan American Unity Mural by Diego Rivera

Executed by Rivera during one of the darkest hours in history (in the year 1940), when it appeared as if Hitler was sure to take over Europe and much of the world, this mural was created as a call to action (specifically to the United States and Mexico, but also) to all of the countries of the America’s to unite and join the allies in the fight against the Nazi’s. Museum of Cholula | Mexican Folk Art Collection
